Congregational Hymn

“Jesus Christ Is Risen Today”

Jesus Christ is risen today, Alleluia!
Our triumphant holy day, Alleluia!
Who did one upon the cross, Alleluia!
Suffer to redeem our loss, Alleluia!

Hymns of praise then let us sing, Alleluia!
Unto Christ, our heavenly King, Alleluia!
Who endured the cross and grave, Alleluia!
Sinners to redeem and save, Alleluia!

Sing we to our God above, Alleluia!
Praise eternal as His love, Alleluia!
Praise our God ye heavenly host, Alleluia!
Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. Alleluia!

“Christ Is Risen”

Amazing grace how sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me
For I once was lost but now I’m found
Was blind but now I see

Chorus 1
Hallelujah
Christ is risen from the grave
Hallelujah
Christ is risen from the grave

The prodigal is welcomed home
The sinner now a saint
For the God who died came back to life
And everything has changed

Chorus 1

Bridge
O death where is your sting
O fear where is your power
The mighty King of kings has disarmed you
Delivered and redeemed eternal life resounds
O praise His name forever

Chorus 1

Chorus 2
And all throughout eternity
Our song will be the same
Hallelujah Christ is risen from the grave

And on the day You call me in
To heaven’s sweet embrace
I’ll see Your scars Your open arms
The beauty of Your face
Through tears of joy
I’ll lift my voice in everlasting praise
Hallelujah Christ is risen from the grave

Bridge

Chorus 1 & 2

Jesus is alive, oh, oh-oh
And all throughout eternity
Our song will be the same
Hallelujah
Christ is risen from the grave

Prayer of Confession

King of Glory, we confess
our hands are not clean, our hearts are not pure.
Forgive our erratic discipleship
and keep our faith constant.
Lead us always to a deeper experience of your love.
Restore our souls with your familiar but always new story
of shame and triumph, suffering and hope.
Gently reveal to us our sins of thought, will and deed (time of silent confession).

Prayers of The People and The Lord’s Prayer

Prayer Focus: For all our NPC Mission partners and the worldwide Christian Church, that their ministries will be fruitful and bring Glory to God!

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread;
and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors;
and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen.

*Congregational Song

“Forever (We Sing Hallelujah)”

The moon and stars they wept
The morning sun was dead
The Savior of the world was fallen
His body on the cross
His blood poured out for us
The weight of every curse upon Him

One final breath He gave
As Heaven looked away
The Son of God was laid in darkness
A battle in the grave
The war on death was waged
The power of hell forever broken

Pre-Chorus
The ground began to shake
The stone was rolled away
His perfect love could not be overcome
Now death where is your sting
Our resurrected King Has rendered you defeated

Chorus
Forever, He is glorified
Forever, He is lifted high
Forever, He is risen He is alive;
He is alive

Pre-Chorus
Chorus

We sing hallelujah
We sing hallelujah
We sing hallelujah
The Lamb has overcome 5X

Chorus 2x

Benediction

Postlude

The Apostle’s Creed

I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth,
and in Jesus Christ his only Son our Lord; who was conceived by
the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, dead, and buried; he descended into hell;
the third day he rose again from the dead; he ascended into heaven,
and sits on the right hand of God the Father Almighty;
from there he shall come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit; the holy catholic church;
the communion of saints; the forgiveness of sins;
the resurrection of the body; and the life everlasting. Amen.

The Sacrament of The Lord’s Supper

The Sacrament is open to all who have faith in Jesus Christ. We come forward to receive the elements by Intinction: A piece of bread is dipped into the cup. A gluten free station is available.
